The Sussex Advertiser, and the West Sussex Gazette
The Sussex (Weekly) Advertiser also known as Lewes Journal began in 1745 and ran until 1822 when it modified its name to
the Sussex Advertiser, continuing in existence until 1910.
The West Sussex Gazette
began in 1853 and is still published today.
